Sweet good Apollo.
I’m completely smitten with him.
He has a huge gap in his bottom front teeth and that makes me love him even more.
He was adopted from us as a puppy…8 years ago.
I would love to tell you a story that was a more reasonable explanation as to why he ended up back with us.
I can’t.
He came back because after 8 years his “family” just didn’t want him any more.
Let me quote…
“If you don’t take him back then I will be forced to do something else with him”.
They didn’t want to crate him because he “whined”.
Well, he’s been here and is a perfect gentleman in the kennel. So, that’s debunked.
They said he was aggressive to one of their other dogs.
I will go ahead and debunk that too. He has been nothing but a complete saint here.
I honesty can never understand why people do some of the things they do.
And really, after 9 years of rescue I have given up trying to understand people but I have never given up on the dogs…and I won’t give up on Apollo.

He is 8.
That makes some potential families look passed him because they feel that he won’t be with them long.
I don’t understand that.
Quality over quantity right?
He is golden with kids.
He lived in a home with 4 rambunctious boys for 8 years.
He is house trained and kennel trained.
He walks beautifully on a leash.
He sits perfectly for a treat.
He is perfect!
I love him!
He deserves a real forever home this time!
